  2. I can see you must be busy :-)

The necklace is lovely. Do you still get a lot of sand or has Lorraine's essay helped?

  3. Quiche's essay helped spectacularly.

oddly enough, have gotten several requests FOR sand, in hope that he has a pouch lying about...

  4. It seems oddly literal-minded of people...

So, to check, having enjoyed The Graveyard Book if I want a gravestone signed (carved?) I should mail it to you....

  7. I will share my necklace with Kitty!

Yes, the requests FOR sand are odd. So far I have not sent any. If they had read my essay, they would know sand Does Not ship well. It gets everywhere, no matter how you pack it.

    I know this.

  8. Pretty necklace!
Cool book and book painting, too!

These must make the truly weird, and truly banal mail worth slogging through.

  9. on the whole, Boss' fans are a very literate/considerate bunch. from time to time, though, the demands are a bit much.
Those I send directly to our Queen of No, The Fabulous Lorraine.

  10. I don't like having to say no. Ever. I find myself in awful situations because I didn't say the N word. I respect Lorraine a lot for being able to say no. Too bad she's so busy, or she might be able to tutor me on the etiquette of No.
